A multimedia walk in a million lights

Let's get back in time to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Budapest!

Time travel

Lumina Park invites you to an exciting journey back in time through Budapest’s unique history to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the city!

As you pass through its history, you will learn about the mysteries and most important events in the life of the capital.
Each zone in Lumina Park tells the story of an important period in the city’s history in chronological order – from the Aquincum, through the 1920s, to the rebellious rock era.

The exciting Waterpolo game, the illuminated Parliament and the Boys from Pavel Street, among others, await you in these zones.

You’ll be reminded of the history of the Rubik’s Cube creation, the golden age of Hungarian cinema, with the iconic ‘Girl with Pearl Hair’ in the background.

At the end of your journey, you will be surprised with our vision of the future city.

Take a look at Budapest’s history from a different, magical perspective on its 150th birthday!

ART

We already started promoting the arts in the 2021/22 season, when our Lumina Park in Poznań hosted ‘Spirits of the Forest’, by Marta Mulawa, for the first time.

We are confident that this is the right direction for the development of our Parks. We would like to make art accessible to the general public, and a visit to Lumina Park an ideal opportunity to get to know the work of great Polish artists.

In “Magical Garden” you will find extraordinary art installations in which light plays a central role, providing an atmosphere of mystery combined with extraordinary sensations at the level of many senses. It is up to you how you interpret the art!

Lumina Park in Budapest features string-art works.
